ETG 7500 marine emissions Carbon dioxide (CO2) [%] – Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) [ppm] – CO2/SO2 ratio

Categories: ,

The ETG 7500 complete system is the ultimate solution for monitoring emissions in the marine sector. Thanks to the central analysis unit, it can monitor all boilers’ discharges on board, ensuring that they meet the thresholds imposed by international regulations. A probe and a peripheral control unit are installed at each sampling point. The gas to be analysed is taken through a heated tube at a high temperature, thus preventing dangerous condensation that could damage the instrumentation or compromise the analysis itself. The sample gas is cleaned using various cleaning systems; a ceramic filter is installed at the probe’s head to suitable with high temperatures and retain dust. ETG Risorse e Tecnologia has only used material that can withstand the harsh marine climate.

A reliable and certified system
The ETG 7500 system continually monitors the presence of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) in the flue gas in real-time, also showing the SO2/CO2 ratio. The CO2 compound is measured using NDIR infrared technology. SO2 is measured using UV-DOAS technology (differential optical absorption spectrometer in the ultraviolet range). The ETG 7500 system can operate even in a first failure condition to prevent costly service interruptions, thanks to an efficient automatic backup that ensures the analysis’s continuity. ETG Risorse e Tecnologia has obtained IACS and RINA certification, guaranteeing the ETG 7500 system’s suitability for MARPOL. The ETG 7500 can perform automatic calibration in complete autonomy, keeping analysis efficient, precise and accurate at all times.

Accessible anywhere
The ETG 7500 has a user-friendly interface that keeps engine performance and analysis status under control at all times. Thanks to remote access, the operator panel can be viewed on any PC, so you have quick access directly from the control room. The ETG 7500 supports most communication protocols such as Modbus, ProfiBus, ProfiNet and 4-20mA. Analysis data can be acquired from any database.
